Since 2005 WMO serves to support needy communities in South Africa, through connecting them with caring support from individuals, churches, businesses and foundations in the US and the world. With your support, we sponsor schools, churches, and orphanages in South Africa, and connect communities of faith through facilitating missions trips between the US and South Africa.
Rev. Quebec M. Miya
President and Founder of WMO, Rev. Miya was born and raised in South Africa and received his formal training at United Bible College in South Africa, Southwest Baptist University in Boliver, MO and Wharton College in Texas. He has served as Assistant Pastor at Friendship Baptist Church in Batesville for the last 11 years, and serves to facilitate and develop the church’s community outreach through organizing concerts, initiatives, international mission trips and also serves as part of leadership team working on high priority development projects including gift designations by congregants and external supporters. His passion helping poor people in South Africa and the world access opportunities they need to help themselves. He is an excellent public speaker, singer, and enjoys mentoring and coaching youth.
Pastor Darren Phillips
Vice President and Founding Member of WMO, Pastor Daren Phillips has been involved in ministry since April of 1998. His life was transformed when he had the honor of preaching in South Africa in 2005. Rev. Phillips currently serves as Pastor at Trinity Full Gospel Church in Bald Knob, Arkansas.
Sheila Williams Bland
Our Secretary & Treasurer is a registered nurse by training, and also serves at Friendship Baptist Church headed by her husband, Rev. Bland, as First Lady, and Sunday School teacher.
